Jeti/2 Messenger is a comfortable Java Jabber Client for all Java compatible operation systems.
Using Jeti/2 for JIM (Jabber/XMPP), Google Talk, United Messaging (1und1 Multimessenger, GMX Multimessenger, Web.de Multimessenger), AIM (AOL), ICQ, Yahoo!, MSN, GaduGadu, IRC
Jeti/2 requires Oracle, GoldenCode or Innotek Java 1.4x - 1.7x
Jeti/2 for eCS / OS/2, Linux, Mac, Unix and Windows.
Installation run automatically using the Java Installer.
Download available from this page and "Open with" Java, or execute with doubleclick the jeti2-inst.jar -file or type the command javaw -jar jeti2-inst.jar or java -jar jeti2-inst.jar.
On Windows Vista / Windows7: Install Jeti/2 to ...\User\AppData\Roaming\Jeti2
On Linux Mint / Ubuntu you must use Oracle Java 1.7x.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java && sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install --yes oracle-java7-installer
and
openjdk de-install
sudo apt-get purge openjdk*
The installer will create a Jeti/2 program and Jeti/2.pdf obejct on the desktop.
To update execute jeti2-inst.jar and change to the existing installation directory. The configuration will not be changed.
